During your Professional Paid internship in Canada you will work in a professional setting for at least 30 hours per week. Because of the professional nature of the work you will receive a small stipend to help offset your costs.

Preparation and Entry to the Professional Paid Internship Program

Students who wish to participate in a Vancouver Professional Paid internship must complete Level 9 of VGC Language School’s English for Academic Purposes (30 hr) program. Your internship begins once you finish your English classes. However, it remains a part of your overall studies. During your internship, you must write online reports to update us on your work experience. At the end of your internship, you will give an oral presentation to your internship coordinator. To graduate from VGC, you must successfully complete your paid internship program.
