There’s Always Something Fun to do at VGC Language School!

At VGC's Language School in Vancouver, we know that learning is not something limited only to books and the classroom. Learning English should be an exciting experience that continually challenges and stimulates you, but most of all it should be fun! We encourage our students to get out into the real world to practice their English. We want them to have as much fun as possible using and refining the new skills they have acquired. When students are relaxed and having fun with each other, they practice their English without even thinking about it—it’s one of the best ways to learn!

And what a place to practice!

Vancouver is a large and multicultural city on the west coast of Canada that sits between snowy coastal mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver has repeatedly been named one of the world’s most liveable city by organizations like the United Nations. An easy and convenient transit system connects VGC students to the world class museums, shopping centres, public parks and global restaurants of Vancouver. The mild climate, mountains and sea create the perfect natural playground for VGC students to get out and discover Canadian culture.

At VGC we know that happy and healthy students are more successful students. Our Activities Coordinator organizes fun and exciting social events both during and after school to help you practice your English, experience Canada to the fullest and make new friends from around the world!

Social Events

Check out the latest American movies on VGC’s Movie Night.
Meet new people, experience Canadian culture and dance the night away on Pub Night.
Break up the day and compete for great prizes at the Lunch hour Wii Tournament.
