Diverse English Language Programs to Help You Achieve Your Goals

VGC Language School is recognized by thousands of international students and prestigious post-secondary institutions as the premier language school to learn authentic Canadian English. We understand that every student has different needs and different goals. That is why we offer students a wide variety of programs and courses: English Programs, Test Preparation Programs, University Pathway Program, Study & Work Programs, and Elective Classes.

English Programs

We have three different options in our English Programs to help students achieve their English language goals: General English, General English Plus, and English for Academic Purposes. Our English Programs are composed of 9 different levels. Each level is 4 weeks long and is designed to accommodate true beginners of English up to lower advanced students. Complemented by a wide selection of elective classes that VGC Language School offers, students will build the necessary foundation to further pursue their studies in IELTS, TOEFL, and university.

Test Preparation Programs

After successfully completing all 9 levels of their English language program, students may choose between the IELTS, TOEFL, and Pathway to University program to further refine their academic skills and achieve their goals. Each program consists of 6 levels and each level lasts four weeks.

University Pathway Programs

The University Pathway Program is a comprehensive test preparation and academic skill development program. It is designed to further educate and support the needs of ESL students studying or planning to study in English language universities or colleges. The University Pathway Program is based on our successful TOEFL and IELTS programs and focuses on building the high-level language skills necessary for success in academia.

We also have Study & Work Programs available for students wishing to immerse themselves in a Canadian work experience. With thousands of positions available to choose from, these Vancouver internship programs are the ideal way to practice English in a work situation and gain valuable international work experience in your field.

All of our programs are designed to help our students express their own thoughts and opinions in English. Instead of speaking English as if reading from a book, students will be able to discuss a variety of issues accurately and fluently. Very soon, they will be speaking as if English were their "first" language. At VGC, we want our students to live, laugh and dream in English!
