March 2018 – Our Activities And Highlights Of The Month

by MATT NAPIER

Are you getting a little tired of the rain and cold here in Vancouver? Well fear not, for Spring is almost here! The month of March has arrived and we are excited for longer days and hopefully more sunlight, as we hope to see you see you with us taking advantage of another fun-filled month! Here’s a look at our top activity picks for this Month:

VGC Winter Weekend in Manning Park

This is one trip you don’t want to miss! It’s one of our favorite ones, as we head to the mountains for a weekend of fun in the snow. Join teachers and classmates as we ski, snowboard, snowtube, and spend evenings around a bonfire in the snow. This trip is what the VGC Family is all about!

Urban Grind

Come hike up 633 steps to the viewing deck of the Vancouver Lookout Tower. It’s a solid workout, but once you make it to the top, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of the city and a free cold beer!

Easter Egg Hunt

Partake in the Canadian tradition of an Easter Egg hunt. We will have hundreds of dollars’ worth of chocolate prizes for you. You just need to search the school for hidden eggs in order to claim your stash!
